Beach Bums yet again!!!

We headed down to the West coast this time, our favorite part of the state. Thanks to the Starwood Preferred Guest program we again stayed for free at the Sheraton (as we did the entire time in the Bahamas) and got to make a true weekend out of it. Patrick's Partner at the law firm wanted to take him out to celebrate, and thankfully our friend Stephanie was able to make the trip with us to stay with William while we went to dinner. We had an awesome time sitting on the beach, drinking margaritas on Saturday and then playing grown-up last night! Steph had to leave this morning, but we stayed and had family time, just the three of us. It was really overcast and threatening to rain, so we didn't stay super late. Actually, William getting stung by a bee and begging to go "buh buh bye" was the catalyst for leaving. We were sitting in the hot tub and all of a sudden he bursts into tears and it's obvious something has happened to his finger. I figured he jammed it as he sat down or something. It started swelling immediately, to the point where we started wondering if it was broken. He calmed down enough for us to look at it and we realized he had gotten stung. My former-boy scout of a husband sucked the stinger out, which if nothing else made Yums crack up laughing! He was still crying about it hurting on the way home, saying "Bad bee bite me" until he finally fell asleep. Poor baby :(
