Practice makes Perfect!
I took a lot of photos today. Okay, that would be an understatement! ;) I noticed that we get the best natural light inside our house in the morning and this morning's light was particularly good! I haven't practiced too much indoors with natural light...mostly because I'm scared not to use a flash inside. So, I bit the bullet...it's the only way I'm going to learn, right?! I wrangled the boys and put up with protests about having to get dressed and fix their hair (all protests were from my BIG kid). I had them sit against my backdrop in the breakfast nook (what I wouldn't give for a studio!) and told them to "have fun." This is what I got...

A cute one of my little apprentice...
Later in the afternoon we went over to my Uncle's (Bob Garas) house where he graciously allowed me to hook up to his studio lights to get some practice. I had so much fun learning about different lighting techniques and even more fun taking some pics of William! Poor Patrick...as soon as we got home I started researching studio lights! They will have to wait for now, but I'm hoping to get in a lot more practice in the meantime! Thanks Uncle Bobby!
(I haven't really had a chance to play around with these too much in photoshop but wanted to post them anyway! More edits to come!)
