Not Just Dance....some jumping and jingle bells too!

William's dance studio (Not Just Dance) had a miniature performance today in downtown Clermont, and despite missing class this past week we were determined to get William to participate. It took all we had to get him to wait patiently the 45 minutes before his turn. It was so very hot and although the kids were in the shade, us parents were all out baking in the FL sun. Finally it was his class's turn and all he had to do was go sit in the circle and wait for his turn to gallop around his friends shaking the jingle bells. Easier said then done! Between the curb and the circle he managed to blow kisses to every last person, run away twice, but finally managed to hop himself to Mrs Rosemary thanks to some prodding by Ellie's mommy. It took Rosemary a few requests to get him to sit down but eventually he did. He watched most of his friends go around the circle, but when it was his (and his friend Gio's) turn he only managed to walk back and forth a bit before happily surrendering the bells. Nonetheless, we were so proud of him for trying and for leaving Mommy and Daddy to go do it. Definitely a big day in our world! :)
