My big man started preschool!!!

And he loves it!!! I enrolled Yums in Collina Kids two days a week in their 2-yr old preschool program to give him someone besides me to play with! He was needing stimulation that I just couldn't give him all the time and I was needing a break! It is down right impossible these days to clean the house with him awake!

Anyway, Patrick and I both went last Tuesday to drop him off and he couldn't have cared less that we were leaving. He has been so excited about going since we told him about it a month or two ago. As soon as we got there he found a Thomas the Train toy and it was all over! I ran straight home to pull up his class's webcam so I could watch what he was doing and how he was behaving. There were times he looked a bit lost and lonely but he never cried, never got upset...even napped in his new pirate sleeping bag at nap time! Day two went just as well, although he did have to go to timeout for a minute because he threw a chair over a shelf and it bonked another kid. That's my boy! ;) He seems to really enjoy the different toys and the outside time. He's even eating some different foods that he won't eat here at home. As long as he's happy I'm happy...and so is Patrick because the house was MUCH cleaner when he got home on Thursday!!
