It's Official....It Happened...

He grew up :(

Yums has had an aversion to being "BIG" for a while now. Probably doesn't help that he constantly hears "You don't need me to carry you...you're a big boy," "You're big enough to reach that by yourself," "Big boys don't fuss like that..." etc etc etc. He's always telling us "I'm not BIG...I'm yittle!" Which, while super cute, made me sad that he didn't want to grow up. I SO hoped my desire to hold onto his babyhood hadn't made him not want to be BIG. But no.... he just had to come to it in his own time.

So this morning while I was checking email he walks over to our bedroom, holding himself up on the door frame, and tells me "Hey Mommy...wook at me...I'm BIG!" I said "You are? You're big now?" He tells me "Yep...I'm not yittle anymore...I BIG!"

And there you have it... =)
