My little man is sick :(

According to his pediatrician it's just a fever, but could develop into a respiratory infection...especially if the hacking cough he's developed continues. Apparently my child doesn't just run a 100 or 101 temp....no, we skip straight to 104.7! Or at least that's what he was when he woke up (in our bed somehow!) this morning! He's acting completely fine, but we've been trying to get him to take it easy. Yums doesn't really know how to do that, in case you haven't noticed!!

Patrick was off today, and since I had to keep him home from Mrs Carey's, we made the best of our day. After his nap we headed down to the Trail for a nice long roller blade/jog. We stopped at the playground on the beach for a while before heading home. We painted pictures, made strawberry waffles for dinner (per Yums' request), and took a nice long luke-warm bath. His temp is staying down in the 101 range right now...lets hope it continues through the night!
