The FL Strawberry Festival!

Along with our good friends Holly, Matt, and their son Kolton, we took William down to Plant City for his first ever Strawberry Festival. Patrick and I used to go every year when we were dating and even drove down from NC just to go. It was so exciting to think about taking William. As soon as we got there, everyone was ready to eat. William, of course, preferred to just eat ketchup.

After lunch, we made our way through the crowds to see the greatest site William's little eyes had ever seen... GIANT TRACTORS!!! As you can see, he RAN to them...

Both boys were quite enthralled by the tires taller than Daddy, but we were able to draw them away with the promise of rides. William has been on many Disney rides, but none since he's entered his fearful stage. I opted to try out the giant bear (one of his favorite animals) and climbed on in with William and Kolton. He loved it! It was all too short, as fair rides tend to be, but definitely worth the $6! ;)

Despite having taking a good nap before we left the house, the FL sun was enough to take it out of him within a couple of hours. Instead of sleeping on the way home, he pummeled Kolton over and over. Poor littly guy. Good thing three year olds don't have the whole "holding a grudge" thing figured out! :)
