M-O-M-M-Y needs C-O-F-F-E-E...

"I want a latte, a cappuccino, and tonight I think I'll have a little vino..."

Yes, that is indeed a kid's song from William's favorite "Ralph's World." Interesting side story: Before I was pregnant with William, I remember listening to a Ralph's World CD with Leslie, Julia and the boys and saying to her "My kid will not like this stuff...he'll like 'real' music. I'm not even going to introduce my kids to this stuff!" Ha!

Ralph was in town this weekend putting on a kiddie rock concert at the House of Blues, and I, of course, had to get tickets! Unfortunately, Patrick wasn't going to be able to make it due to his radio show, but thankfully Holly and Kolton were game! We headed out early Saturday morning towards Disney, which felt a bit like deja vu. The kids were full of energy, but were very patient waiting for the concert to start. William was a little nervous of the surroundings and all the people, and preferred to cuddle with me than run around with Kolton. Once the concert started William was mesmerized! I think he was a tad confused as to why this man on stage was singing the same songs his iHome does in his kitchen! Nevertheless, he recognized them all and really seemed to enjoy listening. Fourty-five minutes later, though, I had a limp and lifeless Yummies asleep on my lap. I was floored that my child had fallen asleep out in public...something he hasn't done since he was 2 months old. I was even more blown away that I was able to lay him down on the stools to give my arms a rest....
